Neurotoxin
When used for esthetic results, neurotoxin is commonly used in conjunction with dermal fillers. Botox treats dynamic wrinkles, or wrinkles caused by hyperactive muscle movements. Common areas to be treated include the forehead area, glabellar complex, crow’s feet, water bottle/smoker’s lip lines, and gummy smiles.
TMJD, including persistent headaches, facial pain, and severe bruxing, can also be treated with neurotoxin. Muscles typically targeted for these regimen types include several areas of the head, neck and shoulder region.
Botox treatment lasts, on average, for 3 months. A personalized treatment plan is made for each individual in order to tailor to their specific desired outcomes.
